In the last few years, our group has started focusing attention to the effects of nutritional supplements upon the skeletal muscle apparatus; in particular, some experiments have been performed on animal models, showing positive results on muscle functionality and highlighting a possible correlation between diet and neurodegenerative diseases.
Starting from this evidence, Ystem embraces nutraceutics among its core business, correlating its potentials to the more basic medical solutions, especially addressed to tissue tone maintenance.
We are currently involved in nutritional supplements intended for improving muscle tissues in dystrophic patients; nevertheless, our philosophy of custom therapies pushes us even further towards a remedy for specific pathologies, such as cachexia, sarcopenia and metabolic disorders.
